Curb your cravings weight loss patch reviews

Many people see the use of weight loss patches as a move forward in the fight to control weight issues seen in the population but the Federal Trade Commission in the United States has warned the public not to be misled by exaggerated claims. The basis of the patch is to slowly release appetite suppressants into your blood stream along with other chemicals that will aid the removal of fat.

As its absorption is through the skin into the blood as opposed to the stomach it is believed to be more affective than tablets as none of the nutrients an chemicals are lost. The method used is called transdermal transfer and is used in other ways to introduce drugs slowly into the system and in this instance, chemicals to help easy the desire to eat and others to help increase the metabolic rate.

The transdermal delivery system used is safe and works based on the idea that some molecules are so small that it is possible for them to be easily absorbed through the skin and then directly into the bloodstream for the body to use. This allows a massive ninety five percent of the medication to be absorbed which is far higher than traditional methods of delivery.

The important aspect of this process is the size of the molecules used because if they were too large the absorption would not happen. There are a number of chemicals found in weight loss patches but they are all pretty much the same as those found in other weight loss systems.

A number of manufacturers have now started developing and marketing their own versions of the patch but some are more effective than others and many experts agree that there are other aspects that may need to be considered when assessing the efficiency of these patches. Of course, when a person wears a weight loss patch there is a strong psychological urge to make it work and experts agree that this is an aspect that is difficult to assess.

The patches are best adhered to clean dry skin, usually on the back of the person trying to lose weight. If there is hair around the location you intend to stick the patch then it must be removed or consider locating it somewhere else.

To ensure complete absorption of the chemicals the weight loss patch has contained within the surface, it needs to be adhered to the skin properly without any gaps or raised areas. In case where weight loss patches get removed or wet, they can still be used although they are not guaranteed to work at the same rate as a newly-put weight loss patch would.

Weight loss patches should not be considered as the only system needed for the wearer to loss weight but used in conjunction with other weight loss methods which would include exercise and a proper diet.
